What stays on your device

Meal entries, symptoms, severity, notes, challenge records, saved foods, language preference and local settings are stored in the app’s local preferences on your device. MyFodmap does not upload your journal to our server. Your device operating system may include locally stored app data in a device backup, according to its settings.

Reminders

Every reminder is switched off until you turn it on yourself, and the times you pick are kept in the same local preferences as the rest of your notes. The reminder is scheduled by the operating system on the device and nothing about it is sent to us or to anybody else, so a reminder still arrives when the device has no connection. The text of a reminder never mentions a meal, a symptom or anything else you have written. Turning a reminder off in Settings, or turning notifications off for MyFodmap in the system settings, cancels the schedule on the device.

Purchases

Optional premium purchases are processed by Apple App Store or Google Play. To check access, the app sends a store purchase identifier and signed store purchase proof to our purchase-verification service. It uses that proof only to ask Apple or Google whether the applicable product is active, expired, refunded, revoked, or lifetime. The service does not receive payment card details or journal content, and does not retain raw purchase proofs in application logs.

Sharing and deletion

Export or share is user initiated. Review files before sending them. An exported file or image cannot be remotely revoked after it leaves your device. Delete personal data in the app’s settings or uninstall the app. Store purchase records may remain with Apple or Google under their policies.

Health information

Food and symptom notes may reveal health information. Do not enter information you do not want stored locally. We do not sell journal data or use it for advertising audiences.

Catatan makanan, simptom, tahap, nota, cabaran, makanan disimpan, bahasa dan tetapan disimpan dalam storan setempat peranti. MyFodmap tidak memuat naik jurnal anda ke pelayan. Sistem pengendalian peranti mungkin memasukkan data aplikasi setempat dalam sandaran peranti mengikut tetapan pengguna.

Setiap peringatan dimatikan sehingga anda menghidupkannya sendiri, dan waktu yang anda pilih disimpan dalam storan setempat yang sama dengan nota anda. Peringatan dijadualkan oleh sistem pengendalian pada peranti dan tiada apa-apa mengenainya dihantar kepada kami atau kepada sesiapa, jadi ia tetap sampai walaupun peranti tiada sambungan. Teks peringatan tidak pernah menyebut hidangan, simptom atau apa-apa yang anda tulis. Mematikan peringatan dalam Tetapan, atau mematikan notifikasi MyFodmap dalam tetapan sistem, membatalkan jadual itu pada peranti.

Pembelian premium diproses oleh Apple App Store atau Google Play. Untuk menyemak akses, aplikasi menghantar pengecam pembelian dan bukti pembelian bertandatangan kepada perkhidmatan pengesahan kami. Ia hanya bertanya kepada Apple atau Google sama ada produk itu aktif, tamat tempoh, dibayar balik, dibatalkan atau sepanjang hayat. Kami tidak menerima butiran kad pembayaran atau kandungan jurnal dan tidak menyimpan bukti pembelian mentah dalam log aplikasi.
